PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Chong Horn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alperen Yilmaz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Alperen Yilmaz!
The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Nard Betker and Albert Achterberg.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Yilmaz gets a takedown into half guard.

Horn pushes Yilmaz off and gets back to his feet.

Horn has Yilmaz up against the cage in a clinch.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.
Horn really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Yilmaz tries to pull guard but Horn holds him up against the cage and eventually Yilmaz drops back down to his feet.

Horn breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Horn shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Horn was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Yilmaz sneaks out the side door and pushes Horn away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Yilmaz scores with a body shot.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Yilmaz displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Horn.
Horn misses with a takedown attempt - Yilmaz sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Horrible takedown attempt by Yilmaz or perhaps it was just good defense by Horn, which made it look bad.

Horn is looking to counter with a shot to the body.
Yilmaz stuffs the takedown.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Chong Horn. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Yilmaz misses with a wild combination.
Horn tries to counter by clinching up but Yilmaz breaks away and moves out of range.

Horn feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

and Yilmaz counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Yilmaz displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Horn.
Yilmaz unleashes a big counter combination but Horn bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.

Yilmaz stuns Horn with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Yilmaz misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Horn gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Yilmaz counters with a series of strikes. Horn will be more careful next time no doubt.

Horn is rocked!
It's a brutal combination of punches from Yilmaz! Horn is backing up but he can't get away as Yilmaz lands with one final shot to the jaw that drops Horn and ends the fight. Great knockout.
