Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jerrod Beach!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Meat Bag!
The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Marco Blurström and Ben Zyskovitsi.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Beach shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Bag's guard.
Beach makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Beach lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Bag wants to get back to his feet but Beach passes into half guard.
Bag really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Beach. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Beach landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
Bag is trying to stand up here but Beach is controlling him well.
Beach is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Beach stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.
Bag tries to clinch but Beach is having none of it.

Bag swinging wildly here.
Bag looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Bag misses with a double jab

and Beach counters by clinching up.
Beach has Bag pressed against the cage, preventing Bag from circling away and getting back to striking at range.

Beach jumps guard and drags Bag to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

Beach scrambles and gets back to his feet.

Beach closes the distance and clinches.
Bag is trying to break free.
Beach drops down looking for an ankle pick but Bag pulls his leg out and moves away.
Bag tries to close the distance and clinch but Beach swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Beach appears to be looking for a big counter.
Bag misses with a wild combination.
Bag looks winded!

Beach pushes Bag up against the cage in a clinch.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Bag comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Bag is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.

Beach pulls guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Beach scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Bag throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Beach misses with a body kick.
Beach pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Bag swinging wildly here.
Beach throws a push kick but Bag slaps the foot to one side.

Beach closes the distance and clinches.

Beach manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.

Beach has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Bag has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Beach pulls guard.
Bag wants to get up but he can't break Beach's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Beach lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.
Bag has momentary wrist control but Beach slips an elbow through the middle.
Beach working some strikes from top position.
Beach is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
Beach lands a couple of digs.

Beach decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

Beach instigates a clinch.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Beach drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Beach manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.

Beach pushes Bag off and scrambles back to his feet.
Beach throws a body kick that misses.
Bag defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Beach.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jerrod Beach. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Beach throws a half hearted mid kick.

Beach closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Bag's guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Beach sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Bag's guard.
Beach lands with a punch from half guard.
Bag has hold of Beach's hands but Beach slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jerrod Beach dominated that round.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!



Beach drives through with a takedown into Bag's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.

Bag wriggles free and stands up.
Bag tries to close the distance and clinch but Beach swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Bag misses with a two punch combination.
Bag throws a leg kick

and Beach counters with a shoot takedown. Bag fights it but they end up in guard.
Beach forces his way into half guard.
Bag on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
Jerrod Beach overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Beach lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Bag is breathing heavily.
Beach scoring with strikes to the body and head.
Beach working the head and body with strikes.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Beach is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
Beach is nestled in close to Bag, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Bag is in trouble now - Beach has advanced to mount!
Beach in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
Beach lands a nice shot to the head.
Beach working the ground and pound effectively.
Beach lands a big elbow.

Bag tries to buck Beach off so he can stand up but Beach has got his back now - this could be big trouble! He's slapped on a rear naked choke that looks really tight! Bag falls backwards, slamming Beach to the mat but Beach holds on tight! Bag is forced to tap and this one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:57 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Jerrod Beach!
