Hammer fails with the takedown
and James counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
It looks like Mark Hammer has been cut.
Hammer tries to score a power double leg takedown but James sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Hammer somewhat.
Hammer misses with a takedown
and James counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mark Hammer. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Hammer looks for a takedown but James sprawls well.
Hammer takes a body punch but keeps moving.
James sends Hammer crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! James is motioning to the referee to let Hammer up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

James stuffs the takedown attempt from Hammer. Hammer gets slowly back to his feet.
BOOM! James lands a beautiful left hook that drops Hammer. Hammer tries to recover but James is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Hammer lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
