Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jake Theodorou (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Texas Pete (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 19 - 6 - 1, fighting out of London, Jake Theodorou!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Texas Pete!
The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Paul Tew and Phil Schofield.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pete slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Pete has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.
A solid leg kick lands there for Pete.

Theodorou closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Pete quickly recovers to half guard.
Pete is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment.
Pete has a hand on Theodorou's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Theodorou takes advantage of the position though and mounts him!
Pete tries to get back to half guard but can't.

Pete tries to hold on but Theodorou pushes him away.
Theodorou throwing strikes here but Pete is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Pete takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
Theodorou lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
Pete really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Theodorou. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

That's one minute gone in the round.
The referee warns Pete that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

Pete is rocked!
Theodorou is in full mount looking to finish with strikes. He lands a big shot, followed by another and Pete goes limp! The ref jumps in to end the fight - a big win for Theodorou!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:24 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Jake Theodorou!
Jake Theodorou spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
