Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Maroun Caboul (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bradley Work (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Maroun Caboul!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Bradley Work!
The judges for this bout are Roger Salmon, Jeff Smith and Josh West.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Work misses with a jab, cross combination.
Caboul half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
Caboul shoots in and drives through. Work sprawls well.
Work throws a right and a left that both miss.
Caboul looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Work is fending him off so far but Caboul persists. Nope, Work circles away and we're back to standing.
Work raises up his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick.
Caboul shoots in looking for a takedown but Work manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Caboul's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Maroun Caboul. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Work is looking to clinch.
Caboul looking to land some kicks to the body here.

Caboul scores with a takedown into Work's guard.
Caboul is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.

Caboul is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Work is just riding it out for now. Caboul eventually gives up the hold.
Work has hold of Caboul's hands but Caboul slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Work wants to improve his position but Caboul is controlling well.
Work wants to get back to his feet.
Caboul wants to free his trapped foot but Work is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Work is looking for a sweep. Caboul is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Caboul working the head and body with strikes.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Caboul wants to lay and pray for a moment but Work keeps working.
Caboul thows a huge punch but Work dodges it nicely.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Caboul shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Work's guard.

Work kicks Caboul off and gets to his feet.
Caboul fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Work has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Caboul darts in looking for a takedown but Work gets double underhooks and turns Caboul into the cage.

It looks like Maroun Caboul has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Work shoots in and drives through. Caboul sprawls well.

Caboul fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Work avoids it really well and circles away.
Work lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
Maroun Caboul seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Caboul shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

Work is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.

Work tries to circle away but Caboul has him pinned against the cage.
Caboul drops down looking for an ankle pick but Work pulls his leg out and moves away.
Bradley Work is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Work lands a nice shot to the body.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Work sends Caboul crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Work is motioning to the referee to let Caboul up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

Caboul stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Caboul wants it to stay on the feet.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Work will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Caboul tries to score a power double leg takedown but Work sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Caboul somewhat.

and Work counters with a three punch combo that has Caboul backing up. Caboul nods at Work to acknowledge the strikes.
Work throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Caboul appears to be looking for a counter takedown.
Work has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Work closes this distance looking for a takedown but Caboul circles away.

Caboul stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Caboul wants it to stay on the feet.
Caboul defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Work.
Caboul closes the distance and clinches up with Work, looking for a takedown. Caboul pushes Work against the cage but Work circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Work scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Caboul looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

Caboul shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Work but Work pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Work looks to throw a body kick

and Caboul counters with a nice double leg into guard.

Work pushes Caboul off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Work lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Caboul at a distance.

Work closes the distance and clinches.
Work lands a hook to the side of the head.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Bradley Work showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The cut man is working on Maroun Caboul's cut.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!


No luck with that takedown attempt from Work.
Bradley Work seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Caboul lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.

Caboul manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Work on his heels. He'll look to pass Work's guard now, I'm sure.

Caboul maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Work could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Caboul has cracked it and Work is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Caboul!
