The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

A telegraphed takedown attempt from Marciano Jr is defended easily by Cliff.
Sven Cliff seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Cliff's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Marciano Jr shoots in but Cliff avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Cliff fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Marciano Jr sprawls well initially but Cliff persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Cliff looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Marciano Jr with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Cliff looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Cliff lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.

Cliff bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Cliff lands a brutal uppercut that launches Marciano Jr off his feet! Marciano Jr tumbles to the floor, barely conscious - the referee jumps in to save him from a beating! Wow, what an ending!
