Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Shirou Masuda.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gleason takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Gleason darts in trying to clinch
and Gun counters with a nice uppercut.
Gleason walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Gleason decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Gun is looking to improve his position.
Gleason thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.

Gun scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Gleason manages to mount him!

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Gleason cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Gleason jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Gun manages to avoid the submission attempt.
Gleason is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Gun knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Gun explodes and escapes back to his feet! Nice escape there!
Gleason is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Gun tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Gleason was well out of range. Poor timing from Gun.

and Gun makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

Gleason tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Gun swivels and escapes.
Gun fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Gleason shoots in but Gun avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Gun tries a head kick but it misses.
Gleason shoots in looking for a takedown but Gun manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Gleason's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Jason Gun has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tristan Gleason.

Gleason tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Gleason shoots in for a takedown but Gun shows good takedown defense.

Gleason is looking to clinch.
Gun was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Gleason tries to clinch but Gun moves out of range.
Gun scores with a jab. Gleason acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Gun takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.

and Gleason takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Gleason gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Gun connects with a good right hand that stumbles Gleason. Gleason circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Gun is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.
Gleason has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Gun thuds his right hand into Gleason's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Gleason needs to keep his hands up - Gun had a free shot at his head there.

That's time! Gun's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Gun digs a good body shot into Gleason's ribs.
Gun tries to bum rush Gleason with a series of wild strikes but Gleason uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Gun throws a combination. Gleason tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Gleason shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Gun won't allow Gleason to pass to mount.
Gleason works his foot free and advances to mount.

Gleason has control of Gun's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Gun regains control of the situation pretty easily.
