Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Swagger Knot (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gorman Gormanson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Swagger Knot!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Gorman Gormanson!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Don Winkell and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gormanson stalks Knot and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Knot's face. Knot staggers backwards, shaken.
Gormanson looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Knot throws a big counter combination but Gormanson scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
Gormanson closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Gormanson stalling against the cage.
Gormanson breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Gormanson wants to clinch up but Knot keeps it at a distance.
Gormanson tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Knot manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Gormanson has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Knot finds it's way round the side to connect with Gormanson's head.
Gormanson wants to clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Gormanson rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Knot moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Knot doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Gormanson closes the distance and clinches.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Gormanson has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Knot is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Knot breaks the clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Knot throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Gormanson's waist but Gormanson gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Knot off to one side.
Knot misses the shot to the body.
Gormanson feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Knot's calf.
Gormanson tries to clinch up.
Knot misses with a takedown attempt
and Gormanson counters with a one-two to the body.
Gormanson throws a head kick but Knot moves out of range.
Gormanson misses with a series of wild punches.
A jab from Gormanson misses.
Gormanson fails in his attempt to clinch.
Knot tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Gormanson defends well and Knot ends up having to push Gormanson into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Swagger Knot. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Knot shoots in and drives through. Gormanson sprawls well.
Gormanson is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own.
Knot misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Knot tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Knot scores with a takedown into Gormanson's guard.
Gormanson pushes Knot off and gets back to his feet.
Knot is breathing heavily.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Knot tries to close the distance and clinch up but Gormanson swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Gormanson throws a nice inside leg kick.
Gormanson closes the distance and lands a one-two.
It looks like Swagger Knot has been cut.
Gormanson's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Gormanson duly obliges.
Knot is rocked!
Knot ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Gormanson moves away.
Oh Knot is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Knot fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Gormanson avoids it really well and circles away.
Knot closes this distance looking for a takedown but Gormanson circles away.
Knot seems to have got his legs back now.
Gormanson throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Knot.
Knot finds himself stumbling back on wobbly legs after being clipped by a right hand. He's up against the cage, ducking and weaving under Gormanson's strikes but an uppercut finds it's way through and Knot falls! - He's completely out of it and the ref jumps in to save him!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Gorman Gormanson!
