Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jayron Jackal (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kezz The Convict (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The Convict has chosen Locked up as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The Convict misses with a wild combination.
Jackal wants to clinch.
A low kick from Jackal is predictable there
letting The Convict counter with a right hand.
Jackal fails with an attempt to clinch.
Kezz The Convict seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The Convict shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Jackal eats them both and turns towards The Convict to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Jackal fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Jackal ducks down and throws a hook to the body but The Convict moves away.
The Convict throws a series of strikes that have Jackal backpedaling.
Jackal misses with a series of wild punches.
The Convict takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
The Convict cracks Jackal with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
The Convict throws a hook to the side of Jackal's head but Jackal sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
A quick step to the side and Jackal tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.

The Convict shoots in looking for a takedown but Jackal manages to keep the fight standing, pushing The Convict's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
The Convict scores with the left hand. Jackal knows he should have avoided that one.

Jackal forces The Convict back against the cage and clinches.
Jackal misses with a body punch.
Jackal lands a nice uppercut.
The Convict jumps guard but Jackal stands there with The Convict around his waist. The Convict gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Jayron Jackal has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kezz The Convict.
Jackal misses with a punch on the inside.
Jackal can't find room to land a body shot as The Convict controls the action.
Jackal tried to land a shot to the body but connects with The Convict's elbow.
Jackal goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
The Convict tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Jackal smiles and moves away.
Jackal swings away with a leg kick that misses.
The Convict blocks a head kick by Jackal.
Jackal throws a shot to the body.

The Convict rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Jackal moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Jackal jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Jackal stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Jackal wants it to stay on the feet.

The Convict shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Jackal defends it nicely.

The Convict throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Jackal was covering up waiting for the punch and The Convict finishes the takedown easily into guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Jackal working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. The Convict doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. The Convict manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Jackal is working hard here to advance position.
The Convict loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

The Convict slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Jackal is trying to control the position from the bottom.
The Convict postures up and lands a big shot to Jackal's brow.
The Convict is fighting to break Jackal's control of his arms but Jackal is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
Jackal is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Jackal bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in The Convict's guard.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
The Convict is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Jackal is aware though and is defending well.
