Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Anssi Kukkonen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Poop Dik (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Anssi Kukkonen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Poop Dik!
The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Tarja Halkonen and Arvi Lind.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kukkonen throws a right and a left that both miss.
Kukkonen avoids a kick to the body.
Dik throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Dik lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Kukkonen has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Kukkonen and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
No luck for Dik with that takedown attempt.
A combination from Kukkonen does no damage.
Kukkonen throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Dik shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Kukkonen throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Dik.
Dik does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Kukkonen misses with a straight right.
Dik tries a low kick but Kukkonen avoids it.
Kukkonen swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Kukkonen moves into the clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Dik misses with a takedown attempt - Kukkonen sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Anssi Kukkonen has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Poop Dik.

Dik tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Kukkonen swivels and escapes.

Dik shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Kukkonen is squirming around, avoiding Dik's attempts to control the action.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Dik looking to control but Kukkonen is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Kukkonen is trying to escape the mount.
Dik punching from mount but Kukkonen doing a good job of avoiding damage.

Dik wants to control the pace but Kukkonen is squirming around nicely.
Kukkonen avoids a series of strikes thrown by Dik.

Dik misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
Dik sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!
Dik can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Kukkonen is looking to escape.
Kukkonen's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Dik wants to control the pace but Kukkonen is squirming around nicely.
Kukkonen knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Dik on the ground.
Kukkonen tries to hold on but Dik pushes him away.
Kukkonen really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Kukkonen looking to escape from mount but he's given up his back!
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Kukkonen is trying to get back to his feet but Dik has full control of the position and if anything, Kukkonen has just worked his way into a worse spot.

Poop Dik dominated that round.

Kukkonen moves into the clinch.
Kukkonen's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Kukkonen looks to land a combination but Dik avoids it well.
Kukkonen misses with the combination.
Dik fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Dik looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Anssi Kukkonen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kukkonen rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Dik moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Kukkonen clinches up with Dik and pushes him back against the cage.
Kukkonen manages to break the clinch.

The fight stays on the outside here - Kukkonen looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Dik uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Kukkonen.

Kukkonen tries to bum rush Dik with a series of wild strikes but Dik uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Dik throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Kukkonen's waist but Kukkonen gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Dik off to one side.

Dik takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

Kukkonen throws a series of punches but Dik avoids them all with ease.
Anssi Kukkonen is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Kukkonen uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Kukkonen cracks Dik with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Kukkonen connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent Dik tumbling to the canvas! Kukkonen pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! Dik was done - good stoppage!
