Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Roids Cannuck (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and AJ Martin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cannuck comes to the cage accompanied by Atreyu - Honor. Martin comes into a darkened arena with his song building. This Is A Test kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Trevor Gratis and Gregory Folan.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cannuck shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Martin as he jumps to the side.
Martin tries to clinch up but Cannuck circles away and keeps his distance.
Martin is looking to clinch but Cannuck is avoiding it.
Cannuck could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Martin gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily

and Cannuck counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Martin trying to keep a closed guard but Cannuck is proving a slippery customer.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Martin can do anything to dispel that myth.

Martin is working an open guard so Cannuck takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
No joy there for Cannuck, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Martin manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Cannuck manages to get himself to full guard.

Cannuck has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Cannuck looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.

Cannuck is landing with some decent strikes but Martin is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
Martin is desperately trying to improve his position but Cannuck has a good base and remains in mount.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Cannuck feints and as Martin raises his hands in defense, Cannuck changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Martin can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Cannuck controls the pace.
Cannuck is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Martin can do to turn this around?

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Cannuck, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
