Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Andokuhle Congo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Merik Hunt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Tarja Halkonen and Anni Minnemäki.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Congo ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Hunt moves away.
Hunt fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Congo sprawls well initially but Hunt persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Hunt thows a huge punch but Congo dodges it nicely.
Hunt has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Congo is looking to escape.
Hunt throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.

Congo throws a hook to the side of Hunt's head but Hunt sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Congo creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

A close round but Merik Hunt will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Congo is wriggling around but Hunt manages to pass to half guard.

Congo is staying active underneath Hunt, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Hunt throws a strike but Congo rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

Hunt drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Hunt throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.
Hunt grinds an elbow into Congo's temple.
Congo is not content to let Hunt control the position.
Congo parries the strikes from Hunt easily there. Hunt is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Congo to escape.

Congo chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Hunt can pounce on him.
Congo bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Hunt's head.
Hunt is rocked!
Congo gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Hunt is still on wobbly legs! Can Congo finish him?
Congo closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Hunt! Congo dives in looking to finish! Hunt is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:56 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Andokuhle Congo!
A very excited looking Andokuhle Congo made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
