Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Arkady Balagan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dory Raly (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Arkady Balagan is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Frank Antenori and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Raly paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Raly has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Balagan is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Balagan checks the leg kick.

Raly looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Balagan tries to score a power double leg takedown but Raly sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Balagan somewhat.
Balagan shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Raly sprawls well. Raly wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Balagan gets slowly back to his feet.

Raly throws a looping overhand right but Balagan ducks down to avoid it.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Balagan is on top in guard.

Raly tries to stand but Balagan is controlling from the bottom.
Balagan is pulling down on Raly's head to control his posture.
Raly would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Raly misses with a low kick as Balagan jumps back.
Balagan attempts a counter takedown but Raly avoids it well and moves away.
Balagan with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Raly to score with a decent uppercut.
Raly has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Raly misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Balagan looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

Balagan shoots in looking for a takedown. Raly tries to sprawl out of it but Balagan keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Raly manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Raly uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.

Balagan looks to score with a jab to the body but Raly is just out of range.
Raly attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
It looked like Balagan was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Raly.
Balagan moves away from the strike by Raly.
Raly connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Balagan's hands.
Raly slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.

Balagan takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Balagan has his takedown stuffed
and Raly counters with a thumping low kick.
Balagan darts in looking for a takedown but Raly gets double underhooks and turns Balagan into the cage.
Raly motions for Balagan to come forward. Raly throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Balagan takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Raly feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Balagans jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

Balagan closes this distance looking for a takedown but Raly circles away.
Raly looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Raly misses with an uppercut.
Raly throws a low kick but it's checked well by Balagan.

Raly lands a really nice looking cross but Balagan seems unphased.

Raly throws a leg kick which misses Balagan's front leg but catches the back leg as Balagan tries to avoid it.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Raly bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Raly lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Balagan takes a shot to the body in his stride.

Dory Raly is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
No luck for Balagan with that takedown attempt.

Balagan throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Raly's waist but Raly gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Balagan off to one side.
Raly gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Balagan to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Arkady Balagan overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Raly wants to stand and escape but Balagan is having none of it.

Balagan throws a strike but Raly rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Balagan has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Balagan wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Balagan tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Balagan has control of Raly's left arm, preventing Raly from doing any damage.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

Dory Raly showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Balagan looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Raly is fending him off so far but Balagan persists. Nope, Raly circles away and we're back to standing.

Balagan dives in and grabs Raly's left leg, looking for a takedown. Raly pushes down on Balagan's head and hops out.

Raly throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.

Dory Raly seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Balagan tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Raly defends well and Balagan ends up having to push Raly into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Raly does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

Raly cracks Balagan with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Raly throws out a leg kick but Balagan moves out of range and Raly only half commits.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Balagan closes the distance and clinches up with Raly, looking for a takedown. Balagan pushes Raly against the cage but Raly circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Raly appeared to try and counter that last move with a leg kick.
Raly throws a front kick that sends Balagan stumbling back into the cage.
Balagan looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that.

Raly throws a hook to the side of Balagan's head but Balagan sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Dory Raly is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
Balagan shoots in and drives through. Raly sprawls well.
Raly is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Dory Raly comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Raly winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
