The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tarry dodges the punch combination from Swanson .
Swanson swings wildly with a couple of big hooks

so Tarry counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Tarry missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Tarry trying to control the position from guard on top but Swanson is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Tarry is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
Swanson wants to stand up but Tarry is controlling him.
Tarry looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Tarry seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Swanson for as long as he can get away with.
Swanson wants to get back to his feet but Tarry is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Swanson is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Tarry controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Tarry throws a strike but Swanson rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Tarry pulls Swanson in close to his closed guard and prevents Swanson from doing any damage or advancing position.
Tarry has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage.

Tarry looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Swanson is defending well. Tarry quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Swanson has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Tarry celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
