The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maslov misses the jab.

Maslov is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Godfrey is just riding it out for now. Maslov eventually gives up the hold.

Godfrey lands a head kick that stumbles Maslov and the fighters go to the mat.

Godfrey is looking to stand up but Maslov won't let him.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

The referee stands the fighters back up. Nathan Godfrey just wasn't active enough from the dominant position.
Maslov dodges the punch combination from Godfrey.
Godfrey thows a left - swing and a miss!
Nice uppercut lands for Godfrey. That snapped Maslov's head back.
Godfrey wants to land a leg kick but Maslov is out of range.
Maslov shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Godfrey counters with a stiff right hand.
Godfrey throws a series of punches but Maslov moves out of range.
Maslov slips a jab and a cross from Godfrey.
Maslov takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Godfrey doesn't manage to clinch there - Maslov circles away.
Godfrey misses with a looping right.

Godfrey moves into the clinch.
Godfrey scores with a knee to the head.

Godfrey has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Maslov clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
