Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jesper Rush (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Salvador Dali (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rush comes to the cage accompanied by Tom Sawyer - Rush. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Salvador Dali was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rush connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Dali momentarily.

Dali throws a body punch but Rush moves out of range.
Dali throws a series of punches but Rush avoids them all with ease.

Rush takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.

Dali tries to clinch but Rush is having none of it.
Rush fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Dali looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Rush misses with a low kick.
Rush tries a head kick but it misses.
Rush connects with a crisp jab.
Rush throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Rush is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Dali.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Rush throws a shot from downtown. Dali moves away and avoids it.
Rush connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Dali uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Rush.
Rush ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Dali moves away.

Rush swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Rush throws a looping overhand right but Dali ducks down to avoid it.
Rush punishes Dali's body with a nice straight punch.
Rush slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Dali takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Rush misses with a body kick.
Rush throws a leg kick that misses.
Rush connects with a body shot.
The fighters circle momentarily. Rush darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Rush waving his hands out infront of him, looking to distract Dali.
Rush throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Dali's waist but Dali gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Rush off to one side.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Dali tries to escape but Rush is in control.
Dali is trying to improve his position.
Dali is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

Dali is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Rush off and has taken his back!

Dali is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Rush has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here.
Rush is trying to escape under a series of strikes and manages to escape from Dali 's hooks.

Rush manages to regain half guard. Good work.
Dali wants to pass the guard but Rush is defending well.

Rush is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Dali's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Dali's back!
Dali rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.
Dali gets back to full guard.
Rush trying to control the position from guard on top but Dali is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Dali is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Dali has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Rush is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Dali.

Dali wants to improve his position, back to half guard but Rush has ideas of his own. He's got hold of Dali's far side arm and it looks like he's got an Americana. Ohh! Ohhhh! OOOOOOOOOH! A human being's arm is not meant to bend like that! Dali is tapping like a morse code operator on the Titanic! SOS SOS! He's out of here! Great win for Rush!
