The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maul throws a series of strikes that have Delacroix backpedaling.

Maul works Delacroix's body with a nice hook.
Delacroix throws a right hand that Maul ducks under and follows up with a left that Maul also avoids with ease.

Maul takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Delacroix throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Delacroix throws out a loose jab but Maul uses good head movement to avoid it.
Zadimus Delacroix seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Maul throws a shot from downtown. Delacroix moves away and avoids it.
We've been informed that Delacroix has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Delacroix jabs Maul to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Maul scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Maul is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Oooooh!!! Delacroix has knocked Maul down with a huge combo! Delacroix steps away and waves a wobbly Maul back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

Maul is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.
Delacroix cracks Maul with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Maul seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Maul slips a jab and a cross from Delacroix.

Delacroix steps in with a hook that catches Maul right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! Delacroix follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Maul looks absolutely devastated.
