Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Charlie Morbolev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kimmo Kiiruna (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kiiruna goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Morbolev throws a shot from downtown. Kiiruna moves away and avoids it.
Kiiruna punishes Morbolev's body with a nice straight punch.
Kiiruna thows a left - swing and a miss!
Kiiruna throws a hook but Morbolev blocks it.
We've been told by Morbolev's head coaches at Highland Brawl Academy that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.

Morbolev works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Morbolev uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Kiiruna.
Kiiruna looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Morbolev steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Kiiruna.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Kiiruna jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Morbolev throws a push kick but Kiiruna slaps the foot to one side.
Kiiruna throws a hook but Morbolev blocks it.
Morbolev appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body.

Kiiruna throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Morbolev.

Kiiruna drops Morbolev with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Morbolev looks back up at him and smiles so Kiiruna waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Oh Morbolev is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Kiiruna lands a nice shot to the body.
Morbolev misses with a low kick as Kiiruna jumps back.
Kiiruna throws a hook to the side of Morbolev's head but Morbolev sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Morbolev blocks a jab.
Kiiruna drops Morbolev with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Morbolev! Kiiruna dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
