And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Antero Teeri!
The judges for this bout are Peter Branson, Santiago Holmes and Bart Greer.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kirillov shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Teeri as he jumps to the side.
Antero Teeri seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kirillov misses with a hook.
Teeri lands a nice leg kick that just misses Kirillov's sensitive parts.
Teeri throws a chopping leg kick but Kirillov manages to avoid taking any serious damage.

Kirillov drives through with a takedown into guard.
Teeri keeping full guard, as Kirillov tries to pass.
Kirillov stands and throws Teeri's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Kirillov happy to just control the position for now.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Kirillov advances to mount.

Kirillov working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Teeri turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Kirillov off and cradles Teeri's limp body as Kirillov celebrates with his corner.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:18 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Anaconda Choke). Max Kirillov!
After winning the bout, Max Kirillov thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
