Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Linwood Macias (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jislaya Koshi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Richard Clark and James Atkins.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Macias closes the distance and clinches.
Koshi looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

It looked like Macias was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Koshi.

Macias was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.

Macias is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Koshi is just riding it out for now. Macias eventually gives up the hold.

Macias slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Macias punishes Koshi's body with a nice straight punch.
Macias shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Koshi's guard.
Macias will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Koshi should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Koshi is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Macias frees his head nicely. Oh but Koshi has switched to an armbar! Macias is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
