The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Davidson throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Hill was covering up waiting for the punch and Davidson finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Davidson postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Hill is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Davidson, into his guard.

Davidson wants to sweep but no luck.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Hill prevents Davidson from getting back to his feet.

Davidson looking to hit a scissor sweep but Hill is one step ahead there.
Hill slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Hill wants to lay and pray for a moment but Davidson keeps working.
Davidson is looking to get back to his feet here but Hill is keeping cool and he's managed to take Davidson's back.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Hill has the hooks in. Davidson is starting to panic. He's trying to push off one of the legs but he's left his neck open to attack. Hill passes his arm under Davidson's neck and tightens up a rear naked choke! This one is surely all over! Yes, Davidson taps!
