PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Brian King (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Valko Dragov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dragov has chosen Go to Sleep - Eminem, Obie Trice, & DMX as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Brian King has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 14 - 20 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Brian King!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 16 - 19 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Valko Dragov!
The judges for this bout are William Peck, Robert Douchet and Alec Ball.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
King takes a body punch but keeps moving.
That kick from Dragov tenderised King's leg. King is trying to keep his angry face on.
Dragov lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Dragov connects with a body shot that sends King's belly button to the back.
Dragov scores with a nice right hand.
King has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Dragov finds it's way round the side to connect with King's head.

Dragov decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!
King is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Dragov scores with a couple of nice shots.

King tries to push off, looking to stand up, but Dragov manages to move to mount!
Dragov thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage.

King is flailing around, obviously not happy about being mounted. Dragov locks hold of one of his arms and spins for an armbar. He's got it! King is forced to tap!
