Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between James Jamison (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tyrell Spong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Tyrell Spong!
The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Trevor Gratis and Elvis Blanc.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jamison closes the distance and clinches.
Spong trying to stall but Jamison improves his position.
Jamison could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Jamison tries to break the clinch but Spong is controlling the position.
Nice body punch from Spong - that landed with a thud.
Jamison just leaning against Spong, taking a breather.

Spong's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Spong dives in for a single leg takedown but Jamison sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

Spong changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Jamison looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

Spong drops down looking for an ankle pick but Jamison pulls his leg out and moves away.
Spong tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Jamison paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Spong throws a right and a left that both miss.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Spong is trying to pull guard but Jamison has him pressed against the cage.

Jamison wants to get up but he can't break Spong's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
