Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Moha Kassari (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andre Leftwich (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Moha Kassari!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Andre Leftwich!
The judges for this bout are Winston Alpacca, Dirk Anderson and David Hoff.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kassari avoids the head kick by Leftwich.
Kassari seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
Leftwich is looking to clinch but Kassari is avoiding it.
Leftwich wants to clinch up but Kassari keeps it at a distance.
Leftwich throws a big shot that misses.
Kassari appears to be looking for a big counter.
Leftwich moves in looking to clinch but Kassari pushes him off.

Kassari really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

It looked like Kassari was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Moha Kassari has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Andre Leftwich.

Leftwich's coach down at Storm Mtn Fighting Studios was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Leftwich's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

Leftwich fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Kassari, pushing him back against the cage.
Leftwich trying to control the position but instead, Kassari has worked for underhooks and has pushed Leftwich into the cage.
Leftwich wants to take the fight to the mat but Kassari manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
Leftwich tries to score a body lock takedown but Kassari shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Kassari has had enough of the clinch but Leftwich keeps him there for the moment.

Kassari escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Leftwich tried to score with a low kick but Kassari checks it.
Kassari is looking for a counter combo.
Andre Leftwich seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Kassari checks a leg kick.
Leftwich wants to clinch up but Kassari keeps it at a distance.
Leftwich tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Kassari was well out of range. Poor timing from Leftwich.

Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Leftwich shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
It looked like Kassari was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Leftwich misses with a hook. Kassari ducked under it nicely.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Moha Kassari will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!



Leftwich shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Kassari's guard.
Kassari wants to stand but Leftwich is controlling the position.

Kassari manages to escape and get back to his feet.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Leftwich lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Kassari has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Kassari and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Leftwich looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Kassari is trying to stand up here but Leftwich is controlling him well.
Leftwich wants to free his trapped foot but Kassari is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Leftwich stops Kassari from getting back to his feet.

Leftwich is looking for a kimura but Kassari is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Leftwich to get the leverage.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Leftwich is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Kassari defends it well.

Leftwich is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

Leftwich has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Kassari defend it? Leftwich steps over the head and cranks it - Kassari is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Leftwich!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:58 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Andre Leftwich!
