Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Ricky Williams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bruce Wayne (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Gwen Towbar and Tiny Johnson.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Wayne rushes Williams and presses him up against the cage.
Williams really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Williams works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Williams accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Williams postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.

Wayne controls Williams momentarily but Williams frees himself.
Wayne wants to stand and escape but Williams is having none of it.

Wayne is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Williams's half guard.

We've been hearing good reports from Williams's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Williams leaves Wayne with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Williams drops down looking for an ankle pick but Wayne pulls his leg out and moves away.

Williams has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.

Williams pulls Wayne into guard.

Williams is working an open guard so Wayne takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Wayne throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Williams.

Williams gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Wayne to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Williams is looking to stand back up but Wayne counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Williams.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Wayne has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Williams uses from the top position.

Wayne trying to keep a closed guard but Williams is proving a slippery customer.

Wayne is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Wayne striking off his back but it's not causing Williams any problems.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Wayne throws a quick inside leg kick.
Wayne throws a head kick that half lands.
Wayne shoots in looking for a takedown. Williams tries to sprawl out of it but Wayne keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Williams manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Williams goes for a double leg but Wayne avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Wayne continues to drive forward.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Wayne shoots in for a takedown but Williams shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Wayne shoots in looking for a takedown but Williams manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Wayne's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Ricky Williams has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bruce Wayne.

Wayne closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Wayne fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Williams sprawls well initially but Wayne persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Wayne is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Williams sees it coming and defends easily.

Bruce Wayne showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

Wayne throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Williams was covering up waiting for the punch and Wayne finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Wayne really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Williams. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Williams has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Wayne doesn't defend quickly enough and Williams has managed to lock this one up! Can Wayne escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Williams on a fantastic submission victory.
