Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Lance McIntosh!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Victor Selassie!
The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Johanna Lukiainen and Tarja Halkonen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McIntosh throws a series of punches but Selassie avoids them all with ease.
McIntosh darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
A jab lands there for Selassie.
McIntosh connects with a single shot there.
McIntosh swings and misses with a hook to the body.
McIntosh bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Selassie's head.


It looks like Victor Selassie has been cut.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Selassie has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

McIntosh gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Selassie controls from within his opponent's guard.
Selassie in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
McIntosh working a defensive guard but Selassie manages to pass into side control anyway.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Selassie is putting a hurting on McIntosh here, landing some big shots from side control.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Selassie is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt McIntosh will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.
McIntosh tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Selassie presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount!

BOOM! Selassie connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Selassie fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
McIntosh takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Selassie cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Selassie in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.


McIntosh is rocked!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Selassie controlling the pace for now.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Selassie is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. McIntosh can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Oh McIntosh is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Selassie connects with a bit shot that sees McIntosh covering up! More strikes from Selassie and the referee jumps in to stop the fight! Selassie is our winner by TKO!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:40 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Victor Selassie!
