Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kyle Parker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Corak Hoon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Corak Hoon is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Kyle Parker!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Corak Hoon!
The judges for this bout are Dirk Anderson, Peter Branson and Winston Alpacca.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Parker tries to sprawl but Hoon drives through with a takedown into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Hoon lands a nice short elbow.
Hoon missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.

Parker looking for submissions off his back.
Hoon is trying to control the action in half guard but Parker is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Parker with the active half guard here but Hoon passes nicely into side control.
Parker on the wrong end of some ground and pound.
Parker is not content to let Hoon control the position.
Parker is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Hoon asserts his dominance and retains side control.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Hoon decides to stand back up.
Parker will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Hoon lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
Parker fails with the takedown.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Hoon closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Parker's guard.
Hoon lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.

Parker working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Hoon doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Hoon manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Parker is looking for a triangle but Hoon pushes his legs off easily.

Hoon postures up and lands a big shot to Parker's brow.
Hoon working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Parker's head.

Parker is rocked!
Hoon stands up over Parker, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Oh Parker is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Hoon landing with the ground and pound.

Parker looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Hoon slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Parker takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.

Hoon decides to stand up, so the ref orders Parker to his feet.

Hoon closes the distance looking for a takedown. Parker stuffs it but Hoon still has hold of him. Hoon picks Parker up in a fireman's lift! The crowd roars in approval. Hoon slams Parker to the floor and that's really hurt Parker - he doesn't know where he is! Hoon throws a couple of strikes and the referee steps in to save him! This one is in the books!
