Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Billy Jinx (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kai Martin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Martin has managed to clinch.

Jinx gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Martin to score an easy takedown into full guard.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Martin tries to close the distance and clinch up but Jinx swats him away and circles back towards the center.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

and Martin counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

Martin gets to his feet. Jinx looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Jinx tries to close the distance and clinch but Martin swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

A little jabbing left from Martin on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Martin looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Jinx is fending him off so far but Martin persists. Nope, Jinx circles away and we're back to standing.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Jinx shoots for a double leg takedown but Martin sprawls well. He's pushed Jinx's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Martin fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Jinx sprawls well initially but Martin persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Martin connects with a nice short shot to Jinx's temple.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Well Martin has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
