The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
De La Cruz throws a head kick that misses.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

As De La Cruz backs off Jinx throws a huge counter combo but De La Cruz manages to avoid it all.

De La Cruz gets tackled into the cage by Jinx. Jinx maintains the clinch.
De La Cruz jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Jinx walks away with a smile on his face. De La Cruz gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
De La Cruz shoots in and drives through. Jinx sprawls well.
De La Cruz will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
De La Cruz closes this distance looking for a takedown but Jinx circles away.

Jinx forces De La Cruz back against the cage and clinches.
Jinx manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
The referee calls for Jinx to work.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch.
