Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Joseph Wright (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Hunt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wright takes a swing at Hunt's ribcage but misses.
Hunt tries to close the distance and clinch but Wright swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Wright throws a body punch but Hunt moves out of range.

Hunt clinches with his opponent.

Hunt's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Hunt on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
A jab from Hunt misses.
Some bone on bone action there as Wright checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.

Hunt is rocked!
Wright looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
A combination from Hunt does no damage.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Wright misses with a series of wild punches.

Oooooh!!! Wright has knocked Hunt down with a huge combo! Wright steps away and waves a wobbly Hunt back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

Wright tries to circle away but Hunt has him pinned against the cage.

Wright breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Mike Hunt seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Hunt on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Wright fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Hunt on the side of the head.
Hunt misses with a wild combination.
Wright misses with a body shot.
Wright looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Hunt looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Hunt misses with a takedown
and Wright counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.

Wright lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Hunt at a distance.
Wright scores with a hook to the body. Hunt takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Hunt takes one on the chin but keeps coming.

and Wright counters with a crisp right hand that drops Hunt! Wright lets Hunt back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
Wright drops Hunt with a big left hand! Hunt is injured, injured bad! Wright jumps in and finished him with strikes! The fight is over!
