PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Putra Rajasa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chris Simon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rajasa comes to the cage accompanied by Bed of Roses. Simon comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Darude - Sandstorm kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rajasa takes a swing at Simon's ribcage but misses.
Simon misses with a body kick.
A clash of legs there as Rajasa blocks the low kick.
Simon misses with a low kick as Rajasa jumps back.
Rajasa throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Simon.
Simon throws a low kick but Rajasa avoids it.
Rajasa throws a shot from downtown. Simon moves away and avoids it.
Simon wants to counter with a clinch but Rajasa pushes him away.
Simon pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Rajasa throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Simon feints the counter takedown.
Simon wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Rajasa throws a big shot that misses.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Simon looks to land a combination. Rajasa sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Simon tries to close the distance and clinch up but Rajasa swats him away and circles back towards the center.
A quick step to the side and Rajasa tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
Simon moves out of range of the strikes.
Rajasa checks a low kick from Simon.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Simon misses with a hook to the body
and Rajasa connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Simon ducks right into an uppercut from Rajasa.
Simon throws a leg kick

and Rajasa counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Simon wants to sweep here but Rajasa controlling him for the moment.
Rajasa stands up over Simon, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

Rajasa has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Rajasa has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Simon to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Rajasa is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Simon pulls down on the head and he's put Rajasa to sleep! This one is all over!
