Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Sipho Maseco (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tami Flu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sipho Maseco could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Tami Flu's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Sipho Maseco!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Tami Flu!
The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Ben Zyskovitsi and Anni Minnemäki.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Flu avoids a punch combination nicely.
Flu looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Maseco throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Flu's head.
Flu takes a head kick and keeps coming.


Flu is rocked!
Flu tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Maseco paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Flu is still on wobbly legs! Can Maseco finish him?

Flu seems to have recovered his senses.
Flu tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Maseco swivels and escapes.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Maseco on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Maseco tries to get out of the position.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
