Why Test comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Bad Mofo - Jai One ft. Charlie Blaze kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! This should be a great matchup!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Robert Twigg and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Why Test closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Why Test drops down looking for an ankle pick but Ciz pulls his leg out and moves away.
Why Test has a takedown stuffed.
Ciz looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Why Test closes this distance looking for a takedown but Ciz circles away.
George Ciz has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dre Why Test.
Why Test closes the distance and clinches.
Ciz is pressed up against the cage. Why Test has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Ciz down to the mat. Ciz avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Why Test shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Ciz as he jumps to the side.
Ciz throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Why Test steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Ciz.
Why Test misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Ciz misses with a looping right.

Why Test shoots for a double leg takedown but Ciz sprawls well. He's pushed Why Test's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Why Test takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Why Test throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Ciz's waist but Ciz gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Why Test off to one side.
Ciz drops down looking for a counter takedown but Why Test sprawls and moves away.
Why Test looks winded!
Why Test shoots in for a double leg but Ciz sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Ciz misses with a low kick.
Ciz with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Ciz throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Why Test tries to clinch up
and Ciz counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Ciz.
Why Test is looking to stand back up but Ciz counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Why Test.
Why Test really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Ciz. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Ciz seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Ciz is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Ciz wants to work for an arm triangle but Why Test is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Ciz passes the guard and advances to mount!
Ciz pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Ciz looking to finish Why Test with some ground and pound. This is bad for Why Test!
Ciz tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Ciz lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.

Ciz working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Why Test turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Ciz off and cradles Why Test's limp body as Ciz celebrates with his corner.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Anaconda Choke). George Ciz!
