Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Warren Savage!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, The Wrestler Ii!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Chris Downing and Gwen Towbar.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Savage throws a series of punches but Wrestler Ii moves out of range.
Wrestler Ii wants to counter the offense by Savage and move into the clinch position.
Wrestler Ii checks a leg kick.
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Wrestler Ii has eaten all the pies!
Savage misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Wrestler Ii connects with a body shot that sends Savage's belly button to the back.
Wrestler Ii waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Savage.
Savage walks into a straight right hand from Wrestler Ii.


It looks like Warren Savage has been cut.
Wrestler Ii swings for the body but Savage moves out of range.
Savage misses with a two punch combination.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Wrestler Ii! But no joy.
Wrestler Ii throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Savage throws a big counter combination but Wrestler Ii scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.

Wrestler Ii forces Savage back against the cage and clinches.

Wrestler Ii has clasped his hands together around Savage's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.
Wrestler Ii in side control, throwing shots but Savage defends.
Wrestler Ii throwing strikes but missing, from side control.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Savage dodges the ground and pound from Wrestler Ii.
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
Savage is breathing heavily.
Wrestler Ii throws a strike aimed at the side of Savage's head but Savage avoids it well.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Wrestler Ii tries to score with some ground and pound. Savage controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.
Wrestler Ii looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Savage is avoiding damage well.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
The ground and pound from Wrestler Ii seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
A jab from Wrestler Ii does it's job there.

Wrestler Ii clinches up with Savage and pushes him back against the cage.
Wrestler Ii looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Wrestler Ii takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.
Savage is defending well against a takedown attempt.
Savage gets underhooks to prevent Wrestler Ii's takedown attempt.
Wrestler Ii tries to work over Savage's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.

Wrestler Ii tightens his grip and picks Savage up, before dumping him to the ground. Savage manages to land in guard.
Wrestler Ii lands a couple of elbows.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Wrestler Ii throws a big right hand that misses.
Savage utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Wrestler Ii throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Savage works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Wrestler Ii trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Wrestler Ii accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Wrestler Ii is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Wrestler Ii throws a big elbow that misses.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Wrestler Ii throws a hook to the side of Savage's head but Savage sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Savage throws a series of punches but Wrestler Ii avoids them all with ease.
Savage moves forwards but Wrestler Ii connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Wrestler Ii fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Savage to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Savage looks to clinch but Wrestler Ii throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Savage taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Strikes). The Wrestler Ii!
