Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between JT Howitz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dash Reveal (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dash Reveal is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, JT Howitz!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Dash Reveal!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Frank Antenori and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Howitz tries for a takedown but Reveal sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Reveal gets a takedown into half guard.
Reveal decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.
Reveal clinches up with Howitz and pushes him back against the cage.
Reveal working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely.
Reveal lands a damaging elbow.
Reveal lands a left hand.
Reveal manages to pull guard.
Howitz is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Reveal is adopting a defensive guard.

Howitz prevents Reveal from getting back to his feet.
Howitz with a nice head shot there.
Howitz knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Reveal on the ground.
Reveal pushes Howitz off and gets back to his feet.
Reveal clinches with his opponent.
Reveal has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Howitz uses from the top position.
Howitz will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Reveal throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
Reveal utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Howitz throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Howitz drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Reveal manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Howitz has Reveal in his guard.
Reveal trying to control but Howitz is working from the bottom.

Howitz has his feet on Reveal's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.
Howitz throws a nice looking combination but Reveal bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Howitz throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Reveal's waist but Reveal gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Howitz off to one side.
Reveal looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Reveal won't allow Howitz to get back to his feet.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Reveal decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Reveal goes for a high kick. It partially lands.

Howitz shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Reveal pinned against the cage. Reveal gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Howitz moves out of the way of the counter high kick fromReveal.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for JT Howitz. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Howitz is breathing heavily.
Howitz wants to clinch up but Reveal keeps it at a distance.
Whack! Reveal lands a heavy head kick that drops Howitz. The ref tackles Reveal to stop the fight - a great save by the referee because Howitz was done.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:25 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Head Kick). Dash Reveal!
