The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ellis throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
No luck for Williams with that takedown attempt.

Ellis shoots in and drives through. Williams sprawls well.
Williams ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Ellis looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Williams is fending him off so far but Ellis persists. Nope, Williams circles away and we're back to standing.
Williams shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Ellis but Ellis pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Ellis has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Williams avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
