Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kurobi Kanji (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and David Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kurobi Kanji could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to David Silva's chin.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, David Silva!
The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Hirohito Nitta.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kanji showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Silva.

Silva closes the distance and clinches.
A head punch on the inside from Silva fails to land.
Kanji wants a takedown but no success here.
Silva's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
Kanji tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Silva smiles and moves away.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Kanji looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Silva!

Kanji tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.

Silva is looking to stall here but Kanji recovers full guard.
Silva wants to control from the top but Kanji keeps moving.
Kanji is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
Kanji continues to stall.

Kanji has a closed guard, preventing Silva from standing up.

Kanji pushes a forearm under Silva's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Silva is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
