Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Yong Rowe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yaya Uwawa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Yong Rowe has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Rowe will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Uwawa leaves Rowe with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Rowe changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Uwawa tries to avoid it but Rowe manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Uwawa to the ground. Uwawa escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Uwawa changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Yong Rowe. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Rowe changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Uwawa tries to avoid it but Rowe manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Uwawa to the ground. Uwawa escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Rowe shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Rowe was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Uwawa explodes and escapes back to his feet! Nice escape there!

Uwawa drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Rowe defends it well.
Rowe looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Uwawa is fending him off so far but Rowe persists. Nope, Uwawa circles away and we're back to standing.
Uwawa tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Uwawa displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Rowe.
Rowe goes for a double leg but Uwawa avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Uwawa continues to drive forward.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Rowe shoots for a takedown but Uwawa saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Uwawa feints the counter takedown.
Uwawa slaps away a takedown attempt from Rowe, before circling back to the center of the mat.

Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Rowe tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Uwawa swivels and escapes.

and Uwawa counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

Uwawa is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Rowe is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Rowe has escaped and now he's on top!

Rowe is sitting in close to Uwawa's body. Uwawa has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Rowe is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Rowe is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Uwawa.
