The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Morton instigates a clinch.
The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch.
Johnson wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Morton really is a fat lump.

Morton tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Johnson is trying to force a seperation but Morton has the dominant position.
Morton tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Johnson smiles and moves away.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Johnson will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Johnson lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.

Morton looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Johnson is fending him off so far but Morton persists. Nope, Johnson circles away and we're back to standing.
Johnson looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Johnson misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Johnson lands a lovely overhand right.
Johnson scores with a hook.
Morton wants to clinch up but Johnson keeps it at a distance.
Morton takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Johnson stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Johnson throws a nice looking combination but Morton bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Johnson throws a right and a left that both miss.
A punch lands to the side of Morton 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Johnson catches Morton with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Johnson connects with the punch.
A combination from Johnson does no damage.

Johnson tries to bum rush Morton with a series of wild strikes but Morton uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Morton shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Johnson can do anything to dispel that myth.

Morton winds up and cracks Johnson with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

Morton maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Johnson could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Morton has cracked it and Johnson is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Morton!
