Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chase Angelov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and DropKick Murphy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Murphy's choice of entrance music: Warrior's Code. On his way into the cage it seems that Chase Angelov has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Chase Angelov seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Murphy circles away from the clinch attempt.
Murphy now looks to counter with a shot at the body.
Murphy looks to land a left hand but Angelov moved out of range nicely.
Angelov tries to clinch but Murphy is having none of it.
Murphy avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Angelov misses with a body kick.
Angelov moves to clinch but Murphy breaks away
enabling Murphy to counter with a crisp jab.
Murphy throws a lazy right hand but Angelov sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Murphy swats away the attempt to clinch by Angelov.
It seemed like Murphy was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Angelov tries to close the distance and clinch but Murphy swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Murphy is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Angelov with a body shot.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

and Murphy counters with a nice right hand that sends Angelov toppling to the canvas! Angelov scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Murphy finish him?!

It looks like Chase Angelov has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!

and Murphy counters with a big right hand! Oh Angelov is in trouble here! Murphy follows up with more strikes and that's it! The ref has stopped it!

After the fight, DropKick Murphy was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
