Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Quill Styles (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Julius Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jackson has chosen 2pac - All Eyez On Me as his entrance music. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Styles takes the fight into the clinch.
Styles misses with an elbow strike.
Jackson dodges an elbow strike from Styles.
Styles can't find room to land a body shot as Jackson controls the action.
Styles has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

Jackson lands a right hand that snaps the head of Styles backwards.

Styles goes for a takedown attempt but Jackson pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Sloppy strikes from Jackson. Those never looked like landing.
Styles tries to counter by clinching up but Jackson breaks away and moves out of range.

Jackson will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Jackson is looking to clinch but Styles is avoiding it.
Jackson fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Styles on the side of the head.

Styles throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Jackson swings wildly with a couple of big hooks

and Styles counters by moving into the clinch.
Styles takes a shot to the head.
Styles lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Styles drops down looking for an ankle pick but Jackson pulls his leg out and moves away.
Jackson lands a glancing blow to the side of Styles's head.
Jackson throws a jab when Styles was well out of range.
Styles throws a big counter combination but Jackson scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Jackson!

Quill Styles's cut is getting worse.
Jackson throws a right and a left that both miss.
Styles swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.
Jackson closes the distance but Styles moves to the side
and Jackson takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Jackson swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Styles is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Jackson.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
A punch lands to the side of Styles 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Styles displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Jackson throws out the jab.
Styles with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Jackson to score with a decent uppercut.
Jackson loads up on a big right hand but Styles slips the punch.
Styles takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Styles ducks right into an uppercut from Jackson.
Jackson stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

Styles is rocked!
Jackson ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Styles moves away.
Styles doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.

Styles is trying hard to land a takedown here. Jackson sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Quill Styles. That's going to take a lot out of him.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Jackson lands with a big right hook that stumbles Styles - he's out on his feet here! Jackson follows up with another monster hook that separates Styles from consciousness! Styles falls, almost in slow motion to the canvas! Jackson stands and admires his work as the crowd go wild.
