PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hattori Hanzo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and CJ Barnes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Barnes has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barnes circles away from the clinch attempt.
Barnes looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Barnes avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Barnes walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.

It looks like CJ Barnes has been cut.
Hanzo throws a series of punches but Barnes moves out of range.
Hanzo tries to bum rush Barnes with a series of wild strikes but Barnes uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Hanzo is looking for an opening here. He's unloaded a big left hand that catches Barnes flush on the jaw and sends him tumbling to the canvas! Barnes is out cold! Hanzo holds back from landing any unnecessary shots to his unconscious opponent, as the referee reacts slowly to the situation. A brutal knockout and then some excellent sportsmanship - this guy is my new favorite fighter!
