Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Kang Lee!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Stan Marsh!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lee tries to clinch but Marsh is having none of it.
Lee takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Lee throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Marsh's waist but Marsh gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Lee off to one side.
Lee shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Marsh as he avoids it easily.
Marsh misses with a wild combination.
Lee has taken the fight to the clinch.
Lee wants a takedown but no success here.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kang Lee. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Lee changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Marsh fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Horrible takedown attempt by Lee or perhaps it was just good defense by Marsh, which made it look bad.
Lee shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Marsh sprawls well. Marsh wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Lee gets slowly back to his feet.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Nice sprawl there from Marsh as Lee shoots in.
Lee throws a nice looking combination but Marsh bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Marsh turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Marsh looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Marsh scores with a head kick. Lee tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Lee fails in his attempt to clinch.
Marsh misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Marsh fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
The fight stays on the outside here - Lee looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Marsh throws an overhand right that has Lee reeling! Marsh follows up with more punches and Lee is out cold! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:25 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Stan Marsh!
