Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Dean Kane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Stoyak Stoyachnikov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kane comes to the cage accompanied by Spiderman. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Albert Achterberg and Paulsen Ambrosius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A chopping leg kick lands by Kane.
Kane thuds his right hand into Stoyachnikov's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Kane will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Stoyachnikov is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Kane's half guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Kane wants to control but Stoyachnikov is keeping busy.
Kane is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Stoyachnikov is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
Stoyachnikov is nestled in close to Kane, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Kane is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Kane is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Stoyachnikov pulls his head out easily.

As Stoyachnikov backs away, Kane returns fire with a leg kick that just misses.

Stoyachnikov lands with a big right hook that stumbles Kane - he's out on his feet here! Stoyachnikov follows up with another monster hook that separates Kane from consciousness! Kane falls, almost in slow motion to the canvas! Stoyachnikov stands and admires his work as the crowd go wild.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:59 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Stoyak Stoyachnikov!
After the fight, Stoyak Stoyachnikov was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
