Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Peter Oliver (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Aiden Miller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Peter Oliver has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 1, fighting out of St Petersburg, Peter Oliver!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Aiden Miller!
The judges for this bout are Konstantin Menshow, Viktor Lagutenko and Ivan Kurochkin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Oliver fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Miller avoids it really well and circles away.
Miller throws a big counter head kick but Oliver avoids it with no problem.
Nice body punch from Oliver.
Oliver lands a nice shot that snaps Miller's head back.
Oliver fails with a takedown attempt.
Miller unleashes a big counter combination but Oliver bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Miller tries to close the distance and clinch up but Oliver swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Oliver tries to sprawl but Miller drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Miller not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Miller is trying to control. Oliver wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

Miller wants to stand up but Oliver has a hold of him and won't allow it.

Oliver is doing well to control the position and prevent Miller from advancing to side control.

Miller wants to work for an arm triangle but Oliver is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Miller thows a left - swing and a miss!
Oliver is looking to counter the offense by Miller and move into the clinch.

Miller fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Oliver to the ground. Miller is now in Oliver's guard.
Miller pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Oliver is keeping the position for now.
Miller wanted to stand there but Oliver had control of the position.
Oliver is trying to keep Miller in close.

Miller drops back, looking for a kneebar! Oliver looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Oliver looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Oliver!

Miller tries to buck Oliver off but Oliver is having none of it.
Oliver will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Oliver sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Miller is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Miller is trying to escape the position but Oliver is controlling the position.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Miller darts in looking for a takedown but Oliver gets double underhooks and turns Miller into the cage.
Miller is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Miller has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Oliver avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Miller tries to pull guard but Oliver won't allow it.
Peter Oliver has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Aiden Miller.
Miller has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Oliver after a bit of a struggle.
Miller has Oliver pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Oliver manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Oliver jumps guard and drags Miller to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Miller stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Oliver swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Oliver is looking for a triangle here but Miller uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.

Oliver wants to control but Miller postures up.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Aiden Miller will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Oliver wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch.

Miller shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Oliver manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Miller has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Oliver can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Miller is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Miller shoots in looking for a takedown. Oliver tries to sprawl out of it but Miller keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Oliver manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Oliver seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.

Oliver drags the fight down to the ground.
Miller looking to sit in guard and control but Oliver gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Miller shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Oliver as he avoids it easily.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Miller tries a head kick but it misses.
Miller moves to clinch but Oliver breaks away
and Oliver connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Oliver checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Oliver looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Miller is fending him off so far but Oliver persists. Nope, Miller circles away and we're back to standing.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Peter Oliver. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Miller drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Miller tries to score with some ground and pound. Oliver controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Miller wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Oliver, who protects the arm well.

Miller stands up and we're back to a striking position.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Left hook, right uppercut from Oliver.
Oliver looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Oliver feints and then cracks Miller's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Miller down.
Oliver shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
A head kick misses from Miller.

Miller shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Oliver pushes Miller off looking to stand but Miller dives back in and keeps control.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Miller perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Oliver won't allow Miller to pass to mount.
Miller is figuring out what he wants to do next.
Miller thows a huge punch but Oliver dodges it nicely.

Miller is keen to just control but Oliver is a slippery customer.
Miller seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

And that's the end of the fight!
Aiden Miller comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Miller has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
