The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Perry checks a low kick from Rodgers.
Perry really is a fat lump.
Rodgers stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Good exchange - Rodgers coming out on top.
Rodgers tries to score with a low kick but Perry moves his leg out of the way.
Perry looks to score with a jab to the body but Rodgers is just out of range.
The fighters circle momentarily. Rodgers darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Rodgers digs a good body shot into Perry's ribs.
Rodgers shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Rodgers darts in and out, connecting with a jab.

Perry is rocked!
Rodgers lunges in with a left hook that violently twists Perry head around and knocks him out cold! Rodgers hops onto the cage and yells out at the top of his lungs - Yeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaah! They're showing the replay on the big screens now; that was nasty! I hope one of the photographers got a good shot of it.
