Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 0 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Vincent Muji!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
6 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Duke Rage!
The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Yuuki Gou and Shirou Masuda.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rage throws a combination that misses
and Muji counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Rage!
Rage looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
An elbow from Muji crashes against the mat.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Rage is being controlled here.
Muji throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.
Muji throwing strikes but missing, from side control.
Rage seems a little lost for a moment, as Muji dominates the positioning.
Muji is working to tighten his grip on Rage's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Rage has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Muji is really squeezing tight and eventually Rage passes out! Muji breaks the hold and jumps onto the ropes to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
