The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chalidov swinging wildly here.
Sagdiyev tries to counter with a clinch but Chalidov shakes him off and moves away.

Chalidov closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Sagdiyev is not content to let Chalidov control the position.
Sagdiyev is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Sagdiyev is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Sagdiyev gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.

Sagdiyev looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Chalidov is defending well. Sagdiyev quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Chalidov has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Sagdiyev celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
