The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cliff tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Winnemayer paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Cliff throws a body kick that misses.
As Cliff tries to get set, Winnemayer tries to push him back and clinch up but Cliff manages to avoid the attempt.
Cliff closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Winnemayer's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Winnemayer is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Cliff frees his head nicely. Oh but Winnemayer has switched to an armbar! Cliff is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
