PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight kickboxing rules bout between Vinnie Haz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Adrian Kaczjarg (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kaczjarg has chosen BMTH - Alligator Blood as his entrance music. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 12 - 0, fighting out of London, Vinnie Haz!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 18 - 13 - 0, fighting out of New York, Adrian Kaczjarg!
The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Patrick Alders and Paul Aken.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Haz lands a lovely overhand right.
Haz loads up on a big right hand but Kaczjarg slips the punch.
Haz throws a left and a right that both miss
and Kaczjarg counters with a three punch combo that has Haz backing up. Haz nods at Kaczjarg to acknowledge the strikes.
Vinnie Haz seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Haz throws a poor cross that misses
and Kaczjarg counters with a series of strikes. Haz will be more careful next time no doubt.
Haz tries a head kick but it misses.
Haz throws a predictable looking body shot
and Kaczjarg counters with a nice uppercut.
Haz throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Kaczjarg on the side of the head.
Haz throws a right hand that Kaczjarg ducks under and follows up with a left that Kaczjarg also avoids with ease.
Haz throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
A swing and a miss from Haz.
Haz shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Kaczjarg eats them both and turns towards Haz to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

Kaczjarg moves into the clinch.
Haz tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Kaczjarg lands a good knee to the midsection. Haz won't want to take too many of those.
Kaczjarg dodges an elbow strike from Haz.
Haz misses with an elbow strike.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Kaczjarg takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.
Kaczjarg comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.

Haz goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.

and Kaczjarg counters by moving into the clinch.
With the fighters clinched against the ropes, Haz creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Kaczjarg lands an elbow that stopped Haz in his tracks for a moment.

Kaczjarg blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Kaczjarg clobbers Haz with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Haz takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Kaczjarg uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Haz.

Kaczjarg has been working his punching technique in the buildup to the fight and it appears to be paying off.

Adrian Kaczjarg showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Kaczjarg cracks Haz with a big uppercut, right up the middle and Haz goes down! Oh, he's hurt! He's bigtime hurt! The referee is giving him a chance to get back to his feet - 4,5,6,7, no, he's called it off! Haz wasn't going to make it and the fight is over!
